Moiré by Plural is an art experience and game created by Chicago-based art & design studio, Plural. Plural has received international recognition in both the commercial and fine art worlds through print, digital, and interactive publications, installations, and experiences.

A moiré pattern is a secondary pattern (or illusion) that is created through the overlapping of two identical patterns.

Moiré by Plural consists of 3 sections: Clock, Cube, and Game.

Clock
Become mesmerized as two concentric patterns rotate like the second hand of a clock. Use the clock on your nightstand or at your work desk.

Cube
Tilt the phone and swipe the screen to move a 3D cube. Apply different patterns to the cube and see how they interact.

Game
Tilt and turn the phone to move a pattern in this labyrinth-like game. Align the patterns to reveal a new level.
